The City of Springfield is authorizing an agreement with the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau, Inc., d/b/a Visit Springfield, Missouri, in an amount to equal forty-seven percent (47%) of the City's proceeds from the hotel/motel gross receipts tax, estimated to be $4,421,575 for Fiscal Year 2025-2026, for the purpose of promoting travel and tourism within the City of Springfield.
