Dixie County Considering Bencor Retirement Plan

US Bencor MidAmerica presented a program called The Bencor Special Pay Plan to the board. The plan allows county employees to put unused sick or vacation time into a retirement plan rather than receiving payment through payroll. The employees would defer any income tax on the contributions and avoid Social Security and Medicare taxes.
