Dakota County is entering a joint powers agreement with the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs from August 15, 2022 through August 14, 2023 to provide free van transportation for county veterans to the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. The no-cost agreement allows non-resident veterans to ride Hastings Veterans Home vans with scheduling coordinated by County staff.
