Description
The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking approval to extend its inmate communications contract with ViaPath Technologies for three years, aligning rates with new FCC caps while increasing tablet content commissions and securing a $20,000 signing bonus. The amendment removes per-minute commissions on audio and video calls, introduces a $0.02 per-minute facility cost additive, and maintains ViaPath’s provision of jail telephone, visitation, and tablet services through May 22, 2030, with automatic one-year renewals thereafter.
