Alanson Board of Education renewed a group insurance contract with MESSA for teacher health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits for the 2024–2027 period. Board will pay up to the state-mandated cap, with prorated coverage for part-time and mid-year hires. Teachers waiving medical insurance may receive $500 per month as a cash benefit or district-paid ancillary benefits.
