Newton is entering into agreements with KDOT Aviation to fund design and construction of new Precision Approach Path Indicator equipment on Runway 17 at the City/County Airport. KDOT will cover the majority of the $30,000 design and $145,000 construction costs under the Kansas Airport Improvement Program.
