The City of Bend plans to enter into a grant agreement with the Federal Railroad Administration for up to $32.3 million to fund final design and construction of the Reed Market Bridge rail-grade separation project. The FRA Rail Crossing Elimination Program grant will cover 70% of the $46.17 million project cost, with the remainder funded by local and BNSF contributions.
