Dryden hires Hurd Development to protect fiber line

The Town of Dryden Board approved an agreement with HURD Development for up to $40,000 in labor to encapsulate the Dryden Fiber backbone under Route 13 with hardened pipe and concrete before Rail Trail bridge abutment construction begins. The project is intended to protect the existing 144-count fiber network from damage by the new bridge footers.
