The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Alaska District awarded a $3,630,033 contract to Bristol Construction in 2007 to extend the Bethel Bank Stabilization project between Brown’s Slough and the Small Boat Harbor. The project added rock revetment and related features using rock from the Dome Quarry in Sand Point.
