SUMMARY
The City of San Gabriel Department of Public Works is soliciting sealed bids for the Annual Streets Program, FY 22/23 (Contract No. 22-05). The scope of work generally consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment for the construction of 4” thick asphalt rubber hot mix (ARHM) overlays at various locations. Additional tasks include edge grinding of existing AC pavement, adjusting manhole frames and covers, restoration of traffic loop detectors, striping, pavement marking, raised markers, traffic control, and public notifications. The engineer's estimate for the project is $4.7 million. Bidders must possess a Class 'A' State Contractor’s License and provide a 10% bid security. The contract duration is sixty (60) working days from the Notice to Proceed. Bids are due by 3:00 p.m. on August 24, 2022, with a question deadline of August 17, 2022.
