SUMMARY
The City of Romulus TIFA Board is requesting sealed bids for the RAC Locker Room Improvements – Steam Rooms project, ITB 25/26-04, Project #0155-25-0010, located at the Romulus Athletic Center in Romulus, Michigan. The scope of work involves the removal of existing single occupant toilet areas in each of the Men's and Women's Locker Rooms and the construction of custom steam rooms. Additional work includes connections to existing boilers, domestic water lines, and sanitary sewer; connection to the existing electrical system for new lighting and alarms; modifying the existing fire suppression system; and adjusting existing suspended ceiling tiles and return ducts. A mandatory pre-bid walk is scheduled for September 4th, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the Romulus Athletic Center, 35765 Northline Road. Questions must be submitted by September 11th, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Bids are due no later than 2:00 PM local time on September 18th, 2025, and must include a bid security of no less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount.
