SUMMARY
The City of New Britain's Mayor's Office and Commission on the Arts are inviting local artists to submit original designs to be painted on traffic control boxes throughout the city. Selected artists will receive a stipend and materials for the project.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
Designs must be original, historic and New Britain-themed, avoid dark palettes, be appropriate for the urban context, and be adjustable to utility box sizes. Selections will be made by the New Britain Commission on the Arts and other qualified parties.
