SUMMARY

The City of Gaithersburg is soliciting quotes from qualified Professional Organizing contractors to provide services on an ongoing and as-needed basis for residents exhibiting hoarding behaviors. The contractor will work with the Gaithersburg Hoarding Task Force (HTF) to evaluate clients, establish service plans, provide hands-on in-home assistance (cleaning, organizing, furniture removal), and ensure compliance with City ordinances regarding fire safety and health. The HTF serves an average of 6-10 cases annually. Submission requirements include an executive summary, methodology, three similar project descriptions from the last five years, two references, and a fully burdened cost proposal with hourly rates.
