SUMMARY
The City of Gaithersburg is seeking a qualified and licensed contractor for a design-build project to replace four wooden columns with steel columns and concrete footers at the Open Storage Building (formerly the Old Salt Barn) located at the Department of Public Works (DPW), 800 Rabbitt Road. The scope also includes the repair of one aluminum downspout. Work must comply with AISC steel and ACI concrete standards. The estimated contract value is $80,000. Proposals are due by January 13, 2022, at 2:00 PM via email. A non-mandatory pre-submission meeting and site visit was scheduled for December 17, 2021. Due to winter weather operations, on-site work cannot commence before March 15, 2022.
