SUMMARY

The Alameda County Water District is soliciting bids for two pipeline projects. The Lindsay Tract and Birch Street Main Renewal Project involves furnishing and installing approximately 2,040 linear feet of 8-inch cement-lined and dielectrically coated steel pipe and 4,670 linear feet of 8-inch PVC pipe, along with service laterals, meter boxes, fire hydrants, air vacuum valves, and cathodic protection systems. The B16 WTP 2 Zone 3 Booster Discharge Pipeline Replacement includes approximately 100 linear feet of 12-inch fusion-bonded epoxy steel pipe and a surge assembly. Both projects require pressure and leakage testing, disinfection, system connections to existing water mains, removal of existing pipelines, and restoration of landscaping and surfaces.
