Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) has adopted a May 2026 Coordinated Mobility Plan for Federal Fiscal Years 2026–2029 that will guide specialized transportation investments for people with mobility and accessibility needs in King, Kitsap, Pierce, and Snohomish counties. The plan identifies detailed mobility gaps (cross-county coordination, demand-response coverage, microtransit, volunteer driver capacity, rider education, data systems, and infrastructure) and translates them into prioritized strategies and actions that are explicitly tied to WSDOT’s Consolidated Grant Program and FTA Section 5310 funding. Vendors and consultants can position solutions now because many strategies are labeled “High Priority” and are expected to be advanced in the near term through upcoming Consolidated Grant cycles and local initiatives, but no specific procurements or implementers have yet been selected.This opens room for technology platforms (eligibility and scheduling, One Call/One Click, ORCA and fare integration), planning and data services, mobility management support, operations expansions, fleet replacement, and engagement/travel-training programs that align directly with the plan. Sellers should frame offerings as helping agencies score better in WSDOT’s grant competition by clearly advancing high-priority strategies and the FTA 5310 performance measures called out in the document.

High-priority strategies include cross-county paratransit coordination, real-time and planned data sharing, microtransit and demand-response expansion, mobility management and One Call/One Click tools, healthcare access pilots, and sustainable funding coalitions; PSRC’s regional priority ranking for the Consolidated Grant will favor projects explicitly tied to these strategies.
