Ontario International Airport Authority is expanding its use of job order contracting (JOC) by increasing the annual amount on its Sourcewell-based agreement with The Gordian Group. The Commission will authorize an amendment to Contract SCONT‑000783 to add $400,000 per remaining contract year, raising the total not‑to‑exceed value to $1,856,805 for Gordian’s JOC program administration, facility condition assessments, and optional project management services. Under this model, Gordian provides a customized Construction Task Catalog and software, and collects a 5% fee on each JOC task order (plus another 5% if project management is requested), paid only when OIAA issues work to JOC contractors.This signals a growing pipeline of repair, remodeling, and repetitive maintenance projects across the airport campus and creates downstream opportunities for contractors already in OIAA’s JOC pool, specialty subs, material suppliers, and consultants providing asset data, facility assessments, and project controls.

OIAA also approved multi‑year JOC construction services contracts with Clark, Angeles, and W.E. O’Neil in May 2026 for up to $6M per contract per year, with project caps and quarterly reporting.
