MassBay highlighted rapid growth in its Corporate Partnerships, Workforce Development, and Community Education area, with non-credit enrollment increasing 365% from 2023 to 2025 across eight programs including Automotive, Behavioral Health, IT, Business, and Green Energies HVAC. The college has secured apprenticeship grant funding from Accelerate the Future and the Smith Family Foundation, is running Behavioral Health and Medical Assisting apprenticeships, and is planning future growth in apprenticeships, pre-apprenticeships, Deaconess and Martha’s Vineyard expansion, and SNAP Employment and Training. These initiatives rely on a mix of business contracts, sponsorships, and federal/state and foundation grants, and they require curriculum, employer partnerships, student tracking, and potentially specialized technology or services to manage apprenticeships and non-credit pathways.Vendors that support apprenticeship management, workforce training content, employer engagement, grant-funded program design, and data/reporting can position themselves as partners as MassBay scales these programs and seeks additional sponsors and infrastructure. Engaging with the Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships and the Director of Apprenticeships to discuss tools and services that can sustain and expand this growth would be a timely next step.

Growth areas include Deaconess and Martha’s Vineyard expansion and SNAP Employment and Training; programs are open to international students and pre-apprenticeships open to all students.
