THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
Extension of the Brad Freeman Trail from Orville Veterans Memorial to Feather River Nature Center. Seeking an extension to find additional grant funding due to significant underfunding.
Initial grant was 260,760, with an additional 150,000 in 2023. Project is currently underfunded, with costs increasing. Previous funds were used for design, engineering, exploration, easements, and legal work. The committee ultimately voted to deny the extension and return the funds to the SPF for future NOA release.
