Trumbull to Join Statewide Tire Recycling Program

The Town of Trumbull is poised to enter into a Tire Collection Program Covered Entity Agreement with Connecticut Tire Stewardship LLC to participate in Connecticut’s statewide tire collection and recycling system. The agreement establishes a two-year initial term with automatic one-year renewals, defining the Town’s role as a drop-off site operator and CTS’s role in coordinating hauling and processing of covered tires. No direct fees to residents may be charged for covered tires under state law.
