Tangipahoa Parish Awards Financial Services Contract to Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office (August 2021)

By adopting Ordinance 21-63, Tangipahoa Parish authorized the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office to collect and enforce the new 2% hotel occupancy tax in Economic Development District No. 8 starting October 1, 2021. The Sheriff’s Office will retain a percentage of the tax to cover collection and enforcement costs.
