Summit Provides FTZ and Economic Development Services

The County of Summit entered into a services agreement effective April 1, 2019 to provide Foreign-Trade Zone No. 181 administration and regional economic development services to the Northeast Ohio Joint Office of Economic Development. Summit is compensated through all fees payable under the FTZ Schedule, with the agreement set to auto-renew annually unless a majority of JOED counties decline renewal.
