Hess requests annexation, Tumwater reviews annexation petitions

Terrence Hess seeks to annex property at 5901 and 5917 Black Lake-Belmore Road SW into the City of Tumwater. The application has been submitted complete sixty percent annexation petitions. At their meeting on July 9, 2025, the General Government Committee will be asked to place the complete ten percent annexation petitions on the July 15, 2025, City Council consideration calendar for the City Council to decide whether it will accept the proposed annexation and whether the City Council will require the assumption of existing City indebtedness by the area to be annexed.
