Santa Monica LCP Deadline and Reimbursement Rule

AB 1740 would require the City of Santa Monica to submit a complete Local Coastal Program to the Coastal Commission by January 1, 2029. If the Commission does not act within six months, it would reimburse the city for coordination costs and provide quarterly status updates to the Legislature.
