Caltrans to Fund State Parks Redwood Rising Mitigation

Caltrans plans to fund California State Parks’ Redwood Rising program as compensatory mitigation for ESHA impacts associated with the Last Chance Grade geotechnical investigation. The funding will support at least 40 acres of forest enhancement work within a 69‑acre parcel in Redwood National and State Parks’ Greater Mill Creek area.
