Village, School District to Continue SRO Program

The Village of Mogadore is authorizing an MOU with the Mogadore Local School District Board of Education to continue the School Resource Officer program from June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027. Under the agreement, the District reimburses the Village for the officer’s compensation during the school year portion of the term, with the Village covering summer months. The MOU defines SRO roles, training, duty hours, and termination provisions and replaces prior SRO agreements.
