The City of Lake City is adopting a new water and sewer billing structure based on recommendations from the South Carolina Rural Water Association to begin charging for all usage, including the first 2,500 gallons. The SCRWA-advised change is expected to generate roughly $1.25–$1.27 million in additional utility revenue in FY 2025-2026.
