Blue Ridge Conservancy will build Northern Peaks State Trail, a designated North Carolina state trail stretching from Boone to West Jefferson and the trailhead. The proposed trailhead kiosk would have a map of the trails and some interpretive signage about the park including its history as well as information about Northern Peaks State Trail.
