The City would be working with the Jonah Center to help income-eligible renters in multi-family houses get energy audits; the Jonah Center would promote communication between property owners and their tenants. Availability of the audits would be publicized on the City's Web site, on social media, and at the Farmers' Market. In a special deal, any Middletown resident who signed up for an audit by Aug. 31 could have it done free of charge, provided there were enough auditors available to get the work done by Oct. 31.
