Description

The City of Newton and Harvey County approved a ground lease with Ballard Aviation for about 17 acres of airport land at $150 per acre annually. The open-space lease, starting July 1, 2026, is intended to reduce debris impacts on Ballard’s aircraft operations and replaces prior agricultural use of the tract.
