Description
The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport Commission is asked to approve a 20-year on-airport land lease with the United States of America, Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration for a new air traffic control tower and related facilities. The lease provides approximately 5 acres for the ATCT/TRACON and 2.31 acres for construction staging, with no cash rent in exchange for FAA assuming full facility and utility obligations and demolishing the existing tower after occupancy. The term will run from August 1, 2026 through September 30, 2046.
