Description

Lake Orion Community School District entered into an agreement with the Charter Township of Orion for collection and remittance of its 2026 summer ad valorem property taxes. The Township will receive a 0.25% fee on scheduled collections and retain interest earned, with the agreement running from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 and options for extension. The Township Treasurer will remit funds semi-monthly via ACH once collections exceed $100,000 per period.
