Initial term July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027; automatically renews for each following school year unless Downey USD gives at least 30 days’ written notice before the new term, El Monte UHSD gives at least 180 days’ written notice before the new term, or both parties execute a revised agreement. District may not terminate services without cause during a contract year except as outlined; Downey USD may terminate with written notice at any time during the term.
