Agreement is effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 and automatically renews each following school year unless Downey Unified provides at least 30 days’ written notice before the next term or the District provides at least 180 days’ written notice before the next term, or both parties execute a revised agreement. Downey Unified may terminate during a term with written notice; funding contingencies tied to Downey Unified’s budget or grants may also end the contract without further obligation.
