City and Borough of Juneau Assembly Committee of the Whole Agenda May 2026

Juneau introduced Ordinance 2026-18 to terminate its revised revenue sharing agreement with Goldbelt, Inc. for the Eaglecrest gondola project and negotiate repayment of Goldbelt’s $10 million investment plus a termination fee. A companion ordinance appropriates up to $12.2 million, largely from general funds, to satisfy the repayment obligation and adjust the gondola capital project account.
