The Assembly is introducing an ordinance to accept and appropriate $2,878,000 in Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan funding from the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation to design and construct a pyrolysis unit at the Mendenhall Wastewater Treatment Plant. The loan will be fully forgiven except for a 0.5% fee on disbursed funds.
