The City of Berkeley ratified a recess action to amend sole source Contract No. 32200036 with the Berkeley Convention and Visitors Bureau d.b.a. Visit Berkeley by removing the $700,000 not-to-exceed cap for July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023. This modification allows full pass-through of one-twelfth of actual Transient Occupancy Tax revenues, with at least $764,575.68 already due for tourism marketing and promotion and an additional FY 2023 true-up payment forthcoming.
