The New Jersey Commission on Brain Injury Research awarded Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey $168,000 under fellowship grant CBIR26FEL004 to support Xinnian Jiang’s development of a microneedle-based electrochemical biosensing platform for monitoring TBI biomarkers. The project will create a minimally invasive wearable system for real-time tracking of glutamate, lactate, and uric acid during rehabilitation.
