Description

The County of Kings approved a professional services agreement with Evaluation, Management and Training (EMT) Associates, Inc. to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the Local Indigent Care Needs program for an amount not to exceed $109,750 over an 18‑month term from May 1, 2026 through October 31, 2027. EMT Associates will provide evaluation planning, data collection and analysis, technical assistance, reporting, and quality improvement support, with an optional enhanced services component subject to County approval.

Base contract funding is capped at $98,750 with an additional optional enhanced services component up to $11,000, for a total maximum of $109,750 over the 18‑month term ending October 31, 2027. Any modification, including additional work or compensation, requires a written amendment signed by both parties and, for enhanced services, prior written approval by the Director of the Kings County Department of Public Health or designee.
