Description

The California Department of Health Care Services and the County of Kings entered into Participation Agreement 26-MCIPKINGS-16, effective July 1, 2026, for the county’s participation in the Medi-Cal County Inmate Program. Under the agreement, Kings County will reimburse DHCS for the nonfederal share of eligible inmate medical services and will separately fund DHCS’ administrative costs to support claims processing and program oversight.
