Description
El Paso Water Utilities – Public Service Board approved an interim wholesale water supply contract with Iron Pointe Municipal Utility District for Phase I of the District’s development. EPWater will provide potable water for up to 1,359 LUEs at an interim wholesale rate currently calculated at $5.58 per CCF for an initial term of forty years, with annual rate updates based on cost-of-service analysis. The District will construct the necessary offsite main extension and handle its own wastewater services.

If no extension is agreed at the end of the initial term, the contract automatically renews on a year‑to‑year basis under the same terms unless terminated with one‑year written notice or for default as provided in Section 2.02.
