El Paso Water Awards Utilities Contract to Iron Pointe Municipal Utility District (May 2026)

Interim wholesale water rate currently calculated at $5.58 per CCF or $7.47 per 1,000 gallons for FY 2026-27, subject to annual adjustment

UTILITIES

Initial term of forty (40) years from the Effective Date, then automatic year-to-year renewals unless replaced by a new wholesale service agreement or terminated per contract

Contract runs for an initial forty (40) years from the Effective Date or until replaced by a comprehensive wholesale service agreement; prior to expiration, parties will negotiate an extension in good faith. If no extension is agreed at the end of the initial term, the contract automatically renews on a year‑to‑year basis under the same terms unless terminated with one‑year written notice or for default as provided in Section 2.02.
