Initial term from January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2029; agreement automatically renews for one additional three-year Urban County qualification period unless either party opts out per HUD Urban County Qualification Notice. Subsequent periods beyond that renewal require execution of a new cooperation agreement. Agreement cannot be terminated during the term until all CDBG, HOME, ESG funds, and program income are expended and activities completed, except if the Board fails to qualify as an Urban County or does not receive a grant.
