The Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation approved a grant of $116,230,000.00 for the construction of a new workforce development facility at LaGuardia Community College. The grant term is approximately ten years, ending on January 31, 2034, with funds payable in installments over four years, contingent upon construction and approval milestones.

The Board of Trustees of The City University of New York authorizes the Senior Vice Chancellor for Legal Affairs and General Counsel, or his designee and that they hereby are, and each of them hereby is, authorized to execute, seal, and deliver one or more contracts with six firms (6), including Cogent, ACS, Infojini, TEKsystems, and I&I Software for a combined aggregate value not to exceed $18 Million, no one contract shall have a term more than five (5) years, together with any and all agreements, documents, and other instruments related thereto, and to take any and all such other actions, as such officer so acting may deem necessary or appropriate, and that such execution by such duly authorized officer of the University shall be conclusive evidence of his or her authority to perform all such acts and to deliver all such documents and instruments on behalf of the University; and be it further.
