Request for Proposal (RFP) for Food Service Management Company (FSMC) Fixed Price per Meal Contract for School Nutrition Programs

Aurora West School District 129 is seeking proposals from qualified Food Service Management Companies (FSMC) for a fixed-price per meal contract for its School Nutrition Programs. The contract will cover services for National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, After School Snack Program, and A la Carte Sales. Proposals are due by May 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM.

Cost/Financial Proposal (35 Points), Promotion of health and well-being of students (10 Points), Local food products (5 Points), Hormone and pest practices (5 Points), Animal welfare (5 Points), Contracting with Small and Minority Businesses, Women's Business Enterprises and Labor Surplus Area Firms (5 Points), NSLP Experience, Implementation Plan, Financial Stability and Pending Litigation (20 Points), Reference Verification (15 Points).

FSMC shall operate in conformance with SFA's Permanent Agreement/Policy Statement with ISBE for the selected programs.
