Summary

Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all labor, material, and equipment for the repair of Chambers Creek Watershed, Floodwater Retarding Structure Site No. 110. The project includes repairing slope failures, stabilizing near-surface soils with lime, repairing the plunge pool, evaluating riser structure gate valve, repairing shoreline wave protection berm, clearing and grubbing areas, improving the principal spillway plunge pool and outlet channel, removing a barn, replacing the trash rack, performing repairs to the principal spillway conduit including concrete encasement and slip-lining, and installing a sand diaphragm drain. The work also involves constructing a rock armored and earthen wave berm, flatting the back slope with lime-treated fill, excavation, lime-treated earth fill, rock placement, vegetation, stripping and excavating borrow areas, disposing of waste materials, and grading, shaping, and replacing topsoil.
