Summary

Sealed bids are requested for the demolition of structure(s), removal of debris, clean-up, landscaping, and seeding of properties located in the City of Nassau Bay. The project includes demolition of structures and accessory structures, removal of all debris, weeds, rank vegetation, driveways, slabs, foundation walls, impervious surfaces, and built-up hard landscaping features. Fences as designated by the City and silt fence installation are also included. Utility mains (electrical, gas, water, sewer, telephone) are to be severed and sealed. Trees on the property are to remain unless they must be removed to facilitate improvement removal. Demolition is to be in accordance with the Asbestos Evaluation Report. Asbestos abatement is the contractor's responsibility if required. The contractor will file a 10-day notification, and the City will cover ARU fees. Leveling and grading of the entire site and seeding with appropriate seed mix or hydro-mulch are required. Temporary passageways may be required.

Section 4.2 — Scope of Services and Deliverables

The selected vendor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform the services described herein. Work shall commence within fifteen (15) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed within the timeframe specified in the project schedule attached as Exhibit B.

Proposals must include a detailed implementation timeline, staffing plan with key personnel qualifications, and three (3) references from comparable government engagements completed within the past five years. Evaluation will be based on technical approach (40%), experience and qualifications (30%), cost proposal (20%), and small business participation plan (10%).
