Contract term

Five (5) year Lease Period commencing 30 days after approval by the New Mexico State Board of Finance and APS Board of Education, with one additional five (5) year renewal option at Landlord’s discretion

Renewal

Landlord, at its sole discretion, may renew the Agreement for one additional five (5) year term upon expiration of the initial Lease Period. Renewal requires ninety (90) days written notice from Lessee of desire to renew and allows Landlord to renegotiate rent to then-current market rate, with new rent noticed at least ninety (90) days before the renewal period begins. Any amendments or future renewals are subject to approval by the State Board of Finance and the APS Board of Education.
