The City of Spartanburg has drafted a Development Agreement with Axio, LLC to build an aviation headquarters facility at the Downtown Spartanburg Airport, with Axio committing at least $4,000,000 in project investment. The City will support the project through a ground lease, site preparation, utility access, expedited approvals, and abatement of its personal property taxes on project equipment and aircraft.
