Two-year authorization period for each trained and certified LEA officer, with MOA effective upon signature and remaining in effect until terminated or suspended

Renewal

Individual LEA personnel authorizations are issued by ICE for two-year periods and may be revoked by ICE or the LEA with 48 hours’ notice; termination or suspension of the MOA by either party automatically revokes all immigration enforcement authorizations. ICE may terminate the MOA with 90 days’ notice, published on its website, and the LEA may terminate via written notice to the local ICE Field Office.
