Description
Central Coast Water Authority approved a short-term 2026 transfer agreement to sell up to 32,000 acre-feet of surplus State Water Project supplies to Dudley Ridge Water District and other Westside Districts. Dudley Ridge will pay $400 per acre-foot for up to 12,000 acre-feet plus lower, month-specific prices for up to 20,000 additional acre-feet, with term tied to DWR’s non-permanent approval agreement. The district assumes downstream conveyance costs and pays only for water actually delivered.
